At Obama Elementary, we encourage student entrepreneurship. Students may sell their own creations, goods/items during lunch from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. in the gym.  Some examples of items that were sold in the past are jewelry items (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings), lemonade, pre-packaged baked goods, art work, caps/hats, clothing items, t-shirts, blinged-out cups, slime, Girl Scout Cookies, pre-packaged popcorn, etc... One adult from each family may assist the student vendors on this day. Registration is only $25 to secure one table and two chairs. This year, students will have to submit a business plan with their registration form and fees. The business plan template is also attached below for your review. Students will only need to turn in the last page of the business plan packet with their registration fee and registration slip.

On the day of the event (Friday, March 1st), approved student vendors will be able to set up/decorate their table, sell their goods and keep all profits for themselves.  Please remember that we only have 30 tables to provide for our student vendors, and they will be provided on a first come, first served basis.  We will also provide hard copies of the registration forms and business plan templates in the front office for those families who may not have access to a printer.  Again, we only have space for 30 vendors, so please submit your registration fee and the last sheet of the attached business plan as soon as possible.
